Albert Hartog’s private equity investment company Active Capital Company has invested in a number of technological innovative and green companies focussed in The Netherlands and other European regions. All these companies contribute a fixed amount of their profits towards the Timbo Afrika Foundation giving it a strong financial boost on a yearly bases. However apart from the financial support, all companies as well the respective management teams donate either part of their time towards the Timbo Afrika Foundation and help the projects directly with their vast knowledge of strategic placement, complex financial structures and commercial operations, IT and operational matters, or assist with motivating their own networks in supporting the Timbo Afrika Foundation. Over and above this, some companies make some of their products available for support for the local communities in Botswana such as Codi with their sanitary / hygienic products.

The accounting firm assists in The Netherlands, South Africa and Botswana the local operational companies with fiscal and financial services and donates a substantial amount of hours towards the Timbo Afrika Foundation. In this way the the foundation’s compliance with the various tax laws is guaranteed.
The attorney / legal company is valued supporter of our projects both financially and with legal advice on complex matters such a land management and land purchases.
