Consisting of over 60 000 hectares of rugged wild land, the Central Tuli skyline is a spectacular mix of rocky outcrops, rolling bushveld adorned with indigenous tree species such as candelabra trees and giant sentinel baobabs. Botswana, “Land of the giants,” it is often referred to. It’s a land of spectacular scenery, endless vistas, and breathtaking sunsets….

A collection of travel experience
A collection of conservation safaris set apart from regular beach and safari products.
Our camps in Botswana, Koro River Camp and Koro Island Camp are remotely located in the most stunning wild and undiscovered areas, with small scale but high-end facilities that are family orientated (even with young children). he camps have completely sustainable designs and are fully operated with local communities.
Over and above you can participate in our wildlife research projects in order to feel the pulse of large scale wildlife conservation projects.
Our safari specialists ensure carefully crafted retreats and adventures at every turn. Our guiding team offers local knowledge of safari adventures and beautiful encounters. Botswana is called the land of the giants because of her big herds of elephants. Our area is well known for its leopards and the illusive brown hyena.
Our Machangulo Beach Villa is privately located on the Marine Reserve section of the The Maputo National Park on a peninsula due East of Maputo.
Last but not least, whilst our guests enjoy well deserved holidays or safaris, all profits are put back into our Timbo Afrika Foundation to be invested again in the same areas in which we operate.

What is a conservation safari?
What will you be supporting by booking a safari with us?
The Africa Experience conservation vision focusses on the re-introduction of once endemic species to the Tuli. The majestic sable antelope as well as both white and black rhinoceros were once found in our area but were decimated by illicit trophy hunting during the last century. We strive to reintroduce these endangered species.
We create wildlife corridors by building fences. and removing fences
We include our local communities in all our projects and create jobs and education in wildlife management and the lodging industry.
The conservation world is fully aware of the drastic plight of our African (rhino) species who face extinction due to relentless poaching pressure, education is important and our intention is to create a stand for all of this here in the beautiful ancient area of the Tuli.
