Conservation Participation Safari Experience

In partnership with the Dutch TIMBO Afrika Foundation — contribute to conservation in the Central Tuli

Harena River Camp offers an affordable safari experience in Botswana’s Central Tuli region along the Limpopo River. Participants spend 4–5 hours each day on conservation tasks, such as protecting trees from elephants, sealing erosion gullies, and removing invasive plants. The program includes daily game drives or bush walks, as well as educational sessions covering tracking, animal behaviour and conservation topics. Cultural activities include village visits, soccer matches, and shared meals with local residents. All proceeds support Timbo Afrika Foundation projects. Ideal for those seeking purpose-driven adventure in wilderness areas home to abundant herds of elephants. Extensions are available.
