Rock Art Excursion
Discover 500-Year-Old Bushman Art in Tuli with a Guided Excursion and Picnic.
Embark on a half-day guided tour to a recently uncovered Bushman settlement, featuring ancient paintings and sacred sites dating back over 500 years. This extended game drive through the Tuli region leads to the village of Mothlhabaneng and a striking sandstone amphitheatre along the Motloutse River, which hosts numerous remarkable galleries depicting elephants, giraffes, sable, wild dogs, and aardvarks. The exceptional quality of these artworks is comparable to any found elsewhere in Africa. The Africa Experience actively collaborates with the local community to develop this site, as both a heritage landmark and a tourism destination. A picnic lunch will be arranged during the excursion.
