About Koro River Camp

The central living and dining facility in the main tent at Koro River Camp is a cool and welcoming introduction to our Camp. A tented bar and indoor lounge are the service hub, alongside a shady dining deck and sitting area. Meals can be prepared in our open air boma and campfire, also an ideal venue for after dinner tales and drinks. Wi-Fi is available at the lounge and viewing deck. A smaller secluded tented chill-out lounge is an inviting space to read or relax, and an open air massage pavilion on the riverbank of the Limpopo River offers rejuvenating massages. ‘Kgomotso’s Kitchen’, named after our veteran safari chef is the food factory in camp and produces superb meals, brunches, high teas, and 3-course dinners of distinction. A curiosa shop completes the Safari layout.

An Exceptional Conservation Safari Retreat

Koro River Camp is the only camp in the Central Tuli Game Reserve which nestles comfortably into the shady, wild banks of the Limpopo River, offering uninterrupted river views.

The thoughtful design, comprehensive facilities, prime location, and commitment to personalised service by our local team, ensure a secluded and distinguished safari experience for families, solo travellers, groups, bird enthusiasts, and mountain biking fanatics. Featuring just seven spacious tented bedroom suites and accommodating up to eighteen guests, Koro River Camp is a discrete and hidden gem in Botswana. Each suite includes a private deck with plunge pool and hammock, providing an excellent vantage point to observe passing African wildlife.

The main tent at Koro River Camp houses a central living and dining facility, providing guests with a comfortable and inviting introduction to the camp. The service area consists of a tented bar and an indoor lounge, complimented by a shaded dining deck and seating area. Meals are prepared in the open-air boma and around the campfire, which also serves as an ideal setting for post-dinner conversations and refreshments. Wi-Fi is available in both the lounge and the viewing deck. An intimate, secluded tented lounge, offers a peaceful space for reading or relaxation, while an open-air massage pavilion situated on the banks of the Limpopo River, provides rejuvenating massages. ‘Kgomotso’s Kitchen’, named after our esteemed safari chef, serves as the camp’s kitchen and produces exceptional meals, brunches, high teas, and notable three-course dinners.  Koro River Camp also boasts an under-the-deck wine cellar, eye-level with the river and is used for intimate gatherings and wine tastings.  The Safari layout is completed by a curio shop.
