Surroundings
The lodge, Koro River Camp, is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Botswana, in the still unspoiled Tuli Block, a historic landscape of rugged mountains and vast plains, crossed by the mighty Limpopo River with its dense riverine forests. This area is home to a unique leopard population and has, provenly, the highest brown hyena density in Africa. You will also find large herds of elephants and elands. We offer our guests guaranteed privacy because we operate with only two game viewers in an area of more than 10,000 hectares. In addition, the master bedroom tented suites are set far apart and each features a private deck with a plunge pool. There is also a massage pavilion where you can enjoy revitalizing full and half body massages.

About the Timbo Africa Foundation
The Dutch TIMBO AFRICA Foundation, founded by Dutch philanthropist Albert Hartog, has been working for years in Botswana and elsewhere to create large wildlife corridors and specifically to protect leopard and rhino. An important aspect is to restore the natural habitat that has often been destroyed by misuse. Currently, as much as 70,000 hectares of land are being re-wilded.
These large projects are carried out together with the local communities so that they also experience the benefits directly. The Foundation owns Koro River Camp and Island Camp and therefore all profits go directly to these unique projects without third party involvement.
Thank you!
